SEASIDE PARK REPORT

10-7-26 UPDATED 8:00 AM Another customer came in and clued me in to all the pods of bunker that are right up the street from the shop. No huge, black, oil slicks, but enough bunker to make some nervous water and to attract a boat load of dolphin. Don’t know what size these bunker are. It looks like the table might be being set and have a good Colombus Day start to the Fall run this year. Conditions might be prime right through Sunday based on what I see. Water temps are still varying between 64 – 66 so we have a little ways more to go there

10-7-26 UPDATED 7:27 AM So I just talked to a long time regular. He drove IBSP yesterday from Gillikins to the inlet with NO ISSUES whatsoever. Wide, flat, hard sand, easily navigated. All that soft sand washed away and the dune structure is still there as it should be. Just letting you know.

10-7-26 UPDATED 4:36 AM Another perfect morning. Zero wind, water like glass, crisp and cool.

Yesterday’s Report: 9-29-26 UPDATED 6:48 AM I’m amazed at how good it looks already. Please look and listen.

9-29-26 UPDATED 4:47 AM This morning looks like expected, very good. We are on the mend. It will more than likely be fishable today. I will see what the water actually looks like at sunrise. Nice westerly breeze, moderate temps, water temps are in the 60’s now at 67 and should drop even more soon. Took a ride in on the bay road this morning and there is zero water and the roads are clear. Other than some erosion, it all looks good. Seaside definitely fared better than other areas.
Now we have to see about everything else. Blues should be hungry and hitting, is the mullet run still on? So to recap today, should be nice, should see sun, the wind is in a great place and we’ll see about the surf in a bit.

9-28-26 UPDATED 4:30 AM Morning. So here is the final update on the last 2 – 2/12 weeks. Seaside Park, almost as a whole, was unaffected. Never even lost power once which is stunning. I’m sure there are some bay front properties here that got more water than usual. A lot of them were elevated and beefed up since the big one in 2012. If you got hurt in the past couple of weeks, very sorry, I get it believe me. So now hopefully our anglers from all over the state can go on with their lives. Doors are open and we are here.
Almost zero wind today, or at least feels that way, but I do see is still blowing just a little bit out of the northeast. Drizzling at the moment…… Going to be shifting in to that phase where it’s out of the west/northwest all week which we desperately need. I will report and video the surf conditions and water clarity every day and hopefully get some anglers out there to report on any action and see if the mullet run survived this. Be back with a video at daylight.

9-28-26 UPDATED 7:00 AM Results of the storm, not bad at all.
